A parent with an idea and some funny friends

After watching an improv show, Eric and his college roommate Denny realized that their kids want to play “improv” all the time. “Hey Dad, let’s pretend we’re at a hotel…” “Hey Dad, let’s play restaurant.” Both of them wished they had the ability to easily join in the fun worlds created by their children. And that’s when the idea for Playtime Improv was born.

Eric reached out to some funny people he knew who teach and perform improv for kids—Martha, JD, and Alexis. They met for a cup of coffee and decided to come up with a fun way to help parents and kids connect through imagination and play.
